# AI That Calls Back Every New Lead Within 60 Seconds (UK)

Try it live in your browser: press the mic and talk to the AI assistant of Redbrick Lofts. No phone, no sign-up.

You have just sent Redbrick Lofts an enquiry: the assistant calls you back. Redbrick Lofts (loft conversion company, Manchester) is an invented demo business.

Read a sample conversation from a test session (Redbrick Lofts):

> **Ellie (AI):** Hi, this is Ellie, Redbrick Lofts' AI assistant, ringing back because you asked us to call you about a loft conversion on our website. Have you got a couple of minutes?
>
> **Customer:** Yes, go on, I've got a minute.
>
> **Ellie (AI):** Perfect. Just to start, is this loft conversion for your own home?
>
> …
>
> **Ellie (AI):** We can arrange a free home survey to take a look and give you a written quote. I have availability this Monday, October twelfth, at one o'clock, half past one, or two o'clock in the afternoon. Would any of those suit you?
>
> **Customer:** The first one works for me.
>
> **Ellie (AI):** Perfect. May I ask your name for the booking?
>
> **Customer:** Tom Whitaker.
>
> **Ellie (AI):** You're booked for a Free home survey on Monday, October twelfth, at one o'clock in the afternoon.

An AI lead callback agent is an outbound AI voice agent that phones every new lead within 60 seconds of the enquiry, whether it came from a web form, a Meta lead ad, a Rightmove or Zoopla enquiry, or a job request that reached your CRM or inbox. AInora calls back, says it is an AI, asks the qualifying questions you choose, books the appointment in your diary and writes the outcome to your CRM. Your team talks only to the leads who are ready: more leads worked, same team.

AInora (AINORA, MB, Vilnius, Lithuania, EU) builds and runs this agent for UK businesses that get more leads than their team can call back in time. It works under PECR: consented callbacks only, the AI disclosed in the first sentence, numbers screened against the TPS and CTPS, opt-outs honoured, and no cold marketing calls to consumers. You can try the voice live in your browser on the page, with no sign-up. Price: priced individually, after a call.

## What is an AI agent that calls back new leads within a minute?

It is an AI voice agent that does one thing, and does it at once: when a new lead arrives, it calls. It does not wait for someone on the team to be free or leave the enquiry in a queue until Monday. It introduces itself as your business's AI assistant, asks the qualifying questions, offers an appointment and logs everything in your CRM. Anyone who wants a person is passed to a colleague with the context ready.

## Why call back within a minute?

Speed decides. Figures from research published in Harvard Business Review in 2011 (Oldroyd, McElheran and Elkington, "The Short Life of Online Sales Leads"):

| Finding | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Likelihood of qualifying the lead when contact is tried within an hour, compared with an hour later | nearly 7 times | [Harvard Business Review](https://hbr.org/2011/03/the-short-life-of-online-sales-leads) |
| The same likelihood, compared with firms that waited 24 hours or longer | more than 60 times | [Harvard Business Review](https://hbr.org/2011/03/the-short-life-of-online-sales-leads) |
| Average response time to a web lead (audit of 2,241 US companies, among those that responded within 30 days) | 42 hours | [Harvard Business Review](https://hbr.org/2011/03/the-short-life-of-online-sales-leads) |
| Companies in the audit that never responded | 23% | [Harvard Business Review](https://hbr.org/2011/03/the-short-life-of-online-sales-leads) |

## Which leads does it call back, and what happens next?

- **Web forms:** your website form sends the lead by webhook or into your CRM, and the agent calls within 60 seconds, at night and at weekends too.
- **Meta lead ads (Facebook and Instagram):** Meta sends the lead to AInora by webhook, and the call goes out while the ad is still fresh. Details: https://ainora.lt/integrations/facebook-lead-ads
- **Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket enquiries:** portal enquiries that reach your CRM, or arrive as the portal's notification email forwarded to AInora, are called back like any other lead. The portals are the lead source, not a direct integration.
- **Trade directory job requests:** job requests from Checkatrade-type directories that land in your CRM or inbox are called back the same way. A lead source, not an integration.
- **CRM and automations:** a new lead in HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce or the CRM you already use starts the call, also through Zapier or Make. Details: https://ainora.lt/integrations/zapier
- **Missed calls:** someone rang the sales line and nobody picked up; the agent calls them back straight away.
- **Qualified on your questions:** budget, timing, area, who decides. The answers land in your CRM with the outcome, notes and the call recording.
- **Booked into your diary:** a qualified lead gets a real slot in your calendar. If the lead wants a person now, the agent passes them to your team with the context ready.
- **Retries if the lead does not answer:** new attempts on a schedule you set (for example after 5 minutes, 30 minutes and 2 hours), with an SMS in between saying who called and why.
- **UK calling rules built in:** only people who asked to be called, the AI disclosed in the first sentence, numbers screened against the TPS and CTPS, and every opt-out honoured.

## Example calls (fictional businesses)

**Web form, Tue 19:42. Aire Valley Kitchens, Leeds. The fitters are on jobs and the office is closed.**

**Jessica (AI):** Hi Emma, this is Jessica, an AI assistant calling for Aire Valley Kitchens. You asked for a kitchen quote a minute ago. Have you got two minutes?
**Emma:** That was quick. Yes, it's a full refit in a three-bed semi, ideally before Easter.
**Jessica (AI):** Thanks. Mark can come and measure up on Thursday at 6pm or Saturday at 10am. Which suits you?
**Emma:** Saturday at 10, please.
**Jessica (AI):** Booked: Mark, Saturday at 10am. I've texted you the confirmation, and you can reply R to rearrange.

Outcome: called 41 seconds after the form; a visit booked before anyone saw the enquiry.

**Portal enquiry, Sat 11:06. Avonside Lettings, Bristol. Both negotiators are on viewings.**

**Jessica (AI):** Hi Tom, this is Jessica, an AI assistant calling for Avonside Lettings about your Rightmove enquiry on the flat in Redland. Is now a good time?
**Tom:** Yes. Is it still available? I'd need to move by the end of next month.
**Jessica (AI):** It is, from the 1st. Priya can show you round on Wednesday at 5:30pm or Thursday at 12:15. Which works?
**Tom:** Wednesday, please.
**Jessica (AI):** Done: Wednesday at 5:30pm with Priya. I've texted you the details.

Outcome: a portal enquiry (arrived as a forwarded email) turned into a viewing in under a minute.

**Meta lead ad, Sun 20:15. Calder Solar, Halifax. The office is closed until Monday.**

**Jessica (AI):** Hi Rachel, this is Jessica, an AI assistant calling for Calder Solar. You filled in our Facebook form about solar panels just now. Is it a good time for two quick questions?
**Rachel:** Yes, fine. We're in a semi with a south-facing roof, and we own it.
**Jessica (AI):** Great. Will anyone else be involved in the decision? I can book the survey for when you are both at home.
**Rachel:** My husband, so a Saturday is best.
**Jessica (AI):** Then Daniel will do the survey on Saturday at 11am. You'll get a text now with the details.

Outcome: a Sunday-evening ad lead qualified and booked while the office was closed.

## What does a 60-second callback sound like? A longer example

Example conversation with a fictional business: a valuation request from an estate agent's website in Nottingham, called back in under a minute.

**Jessica (AI):** Hello, is that Helen? This is Jessica, an AI assistant calling for Trentside Estates. You asked for a valuation on our website a minute ago. Is now a good time?

**Helen:** Yes, that was quick. Go on.

**Jessica (AI):** Thank you. If you would rather talk to someone in the office, just say. Is it the three-bed in West Bridgford from your form?

**Helen:** That's the one.

**Jessica (AI):** Are you thinking of selling in the next few months, or would you like to know the value for now?

**Helen:** Probably in the spring. We're already looking at bigger places.

**Jessica (AI):** Have you found somewhere yet, or would you sell first?

**Helen:** Not yet. We'd want to sell first.

**Jessica (AI):** Understood. Sarah, our valuer for West Bridgford, can come on Tuesday at 4:30pm or Thursday at 10am. Which suits you?

**Helen:** Thursday at 10.

**Jessica (AI):** Booked: Sarah, Thursday at 10am. I'll text you the confirmation now. And if you'd ever like us to stop calling, just tell us and we will. Have a good day.

After the call: in the CRM the lead moves to "valuation booked" with the notes (selling in spring, would sell first), Sarah's diary has the visit, and Helen has the confirmation by SMS.

## Is it legal to call back leads with AI in the UK?

Calling back someone who has just asked to be contacted is not a cold call: the lead gave their number and asked for a call. PECR still applies to every outbound call, so AInora works to four rules: it calls only people who asked to be called or consented, it says it is an AI in its first sentence, it screens numbers against the TPS and CTPS, and it honours every opt-out at once. AInora makes no cold marketing calls to consumers.

| Rule | What it requires | How AInora handles it |
|---|---|---|
| [PECR regulation 19](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2003/2426/regulation/19) | Marketing calls made by an automated calling system that plays sounds other than live speech need the person's prior consent. | AInora calls only people who asked to be called or consented, such as a lead who filled in your form. No cold marketing calls to consumers. |
| [PECR regulation 21](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2003/2426/regulation/21), TPS and CTPS | No marketing calls to people who objected, or to numbers on the TPS (individuals) or CTPS (companies), unless they consented. | Outbound numbers are screened against the TPS and CTPS and against your own do-not-call list before the call. |
| [ICO telephone marketing guidance](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/guide-to-pecr/electronic-and-telephone-marketing/telephone-marketing/) | Say who is calling, display your number, and stop calling when consent is withdrawn. | The agent names your business and says it is an AI in its first sentence; opt-outs are recorded and honoured at once. |
| [UK GDPR Article 13](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/eur/2016/679/article/13) | People are told who processes their data and why, when the data is collected. | Your form and the call's opening carry the notice, worded with you at set-up. |
| [Data (Use and Access) Act 2025](https://ico.org.uk/about-the-ico/media-centre/news-and-blogs/2026/02/statement-on-the-commencement-of-the-data-use-and-access-act-duaa/) | Since 5 February 2026 the ICO can fine PECR breaches up to £17.5 million or 4% of global turnover. | The rules above run on every lead list before the first call. |

Checked against the primary texts (legislation.gov.uk, ICO) on 11 October 2026. General information, not legal advice. The full picture: https://ainora.lt/blog/ai-receptionist-uk-gdpr-ico-compliance-guide

Data: data is stored on servers in Germany and Finland. In the standard setup, calls are processed in the EU and the US under GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses). A full-EU setup, with all processing in the EU, is available on request. The subprocessor list is in the DPA.

## Questions about AI lead callback in the UK

**Is there an AI agent that calls back new leads within a minute for UK businesses?**
Yes. AInora's AI agent phones every new lead within 60 seconds of the enquiry, day or night: web forms, Meta lead ads, portal enquiries and job requests that reach your CRM or inbox. It says it is an AI, asks your qualifying questions, books the appointment in your diary and writes the outcome to your CRM. Your team talks only to leads who are ready, so you work every lead with the same team.

**How fast does it call a new lead?**
Within 60 seconds of the enquiry arriving, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Speed matters: in research published in Harvard Business Review in 2011, firms that tried to contact a lead within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify it as firms that tried even an hour later.

**Does it work with Meta lead ads, website forms and my CRM?**
Yes. Meta lead ads (Facebook and Instagram) reach AInora by webhook, and so do website forms. Alternatively, the call starts when a new lead lands in your CRM, for example HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce, also through Zapier or Make. The outcome, notes and appointment go back into the same CRM.

**Can it call back Rightmove, Zoopla or OnTheMarket enquiries?**
Yes, in two ways: when the portal enquiries reach your agency CRM, or when the portal's notification emails are forwarded to AInora. Either way the agent calls them back like any other lead, answers the first questions about the property and books the viewing or valuation. The portals are the lead source, not a direct integration.

**What about job requests from Checkatrade-type directories?**
If the job requests reach your CRM or inbox, they can be forwarded to AInora and called back within a minute. The directory is the lead source, not an integration, and the call goes only to people who asked to be contacted.

**Is it legal to call leads back with AI in the UK?**
Calling back someone who has just asked to be contacted is not a cold call, but PECR still applies. Marketing calls by an automated calling system need prior consent (regulation 19), and numbers on the TPS or CTPS must not get marketing calls without consent (regulation 21). AInora calls only people who asked to be called, screens numbers against the TPS and CTPS, says it is an AI in its first sentence and honours every opt-out. This is general information, not legal advice.

**Does the agent say it is an AI?**
Yes, in its first sentence, along with the name of your business and the reason for the call. If the lead would rather talk to a person, the agent passes them to someone on your team with the conversation summarised, or books a callback.

**Will it make cold calls to consumers?**
No. AInora makes no cold marketing calls to consumers. It calls people who asked to be called, such as a lead who filled in your form, and customers who agreed to hear from you.

**What happens if the lead does not answer?**
The agent tries again on a schedule you set, for example after 5 minutes, after 30 minutes and after 2 hours. Between attempts it can send an SMS explaining who called and why.

**Does it replace my sales team?**
No. It makes the first call: it calls back, qualifies and books. Advice, negotiation and closing stay with your team, who now talk only to qualified leads. It is extra capacity: no lead goes unanswered, with the same team.

**What languages can it call back in?**
British English by default, with British and Irish English accents supported, and 90+ languages. If a lead answers in another language, the agent can switch during the call.

**How much does an AI lead callback agent cost?**
AInora is priced individually, after a call. Book a free consultation (https://ainora.lt/contact?from=AI+Lead+Callback+UK) and we look at your lead volumes, sources and CRM together. Set-up typically takes around two weeks from kickoff.
