Estimate Follow-Up

Turn Your Old Unsold Estimates
Into Booked Jobs

You did the site visit, wrote the quote, never heard back. That job did not die. Nobody called it. A warm, disclosed AI follows up your own unsold estimates and books the work the homeowner still wants done.

These are people who already asked you for a price. Warm contacts, never a cold list. The AI says it is an AI, and anyone who asks to stop is opted out.

Your Backlog of Quotes Is Money You Already Spent

Every estimate cost you a drive, a site visit, and an hour of pricing. The ones that went quiet are not lost jobs. They are uncalled jobs.

How Does Following Up Old Estimates Work?

From a quiet quote to a booked job, without your crew making a single call.

Step 1

You point us at your own unsold estimates

The quotes you already wrote and never heard back on, sitting in your estimating tool or CRM. These are people who asked you for a price. Warm contacts, not a cold list.

Step 2

A disclosed AI calls and reopens the job

The AI says up front that it is an AI calling on your behalf, references the specific quote, and asks whether the homeowner still wants the work done. No pressure, no script-reading robot voice.

Step 3

Live jobs get booked, the rest get sorted

People who are ready get an appointment booked straight into your calendar. People who chose someone else or want to wait are marked so you stop chasing them. Anyone who says stop is opted out.

Step 4

You get the booked work and the notes

Every call comes back with a recording, a transcript, and a clear status in your system. You walk into a calendar of jobs you had already given up on, with the context of who said what and why.

Which Quotes Are Worth Reopening?

The bigger and quieter the job, the more there is to recover.

Roofing estimates that went quiet

You climbed up, measured, and sent a number for a roof replacement. Six weeks of silence does not mean no. Often it means the homeowner got busy, the storm faded from memory, or your quote slid down the inbox.

HVAC system quotes never closed

A new furnace or AC system is a big decision people put off. The estimate you wrote in spring is still relevant in fall. A warm follow-up call catches them at the moment the old unit finally fails.

Remodel and renovation proposals

Kitchens, baths, additions. Big-ticket proposals sit for months while homeowners save up or compare. The contractor who politely checks back in is the one who is still front of mind when they decide to go ahead.

Plumbing and electrical jobs left hanging

A repipe, a panel upgrade, a water heater swap. The quote was fine, life just got in the way. Reopening the conversation while the issue is still unresolved turns a forgotten estimate into a scheduled visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this cold calling?
No. We only follow up with people who already asked you for a quote. They invited the contact when they requested the estimate. The AI is reaching back out about a specific job they raised with you, not interrupting a stranger. Anyone who asks to stop is opted out and not called again.
Does the AI pretend to be a person?
No. The AI states clearly at the start of the call that it is an AI calling on your behalf about their estimate. We do not try to make it indistinguishable from a human. In practice, homeowners respond well to a calm, honest call that gets to the point about the work they asked about.
Will it make my company sound robotic?
The AI speaks naturally, listens, and responds in context. It references the actual job and quote rather than reading a generic script. If the homeowner wants to talk to you directly, the call is handed off or a callback is arranged, so the human touch is still there where it matters.
Is it legal to call my old estimate list with an AI?
An existing relationship does not by itself make an automated or AI voice call legal everywhere, and rules differ by country and region. Our approach is built to stay on the safe side: we call only your own opted-in contacts, the AI discloses that it is an AI, opt-out and do-not-call requests are honored, and every call is logged. We do not claim any campaign is automatically exempt or zero risk, and we are happy to walk through how it fits your situation on a call.
What if the homeowner already hired someone else?
Then you find out cleanly and stop spending time on a dead job. The AI marks the outcome in your system, so your follow-up list reflects reality. You only put energy into the estimates that are genuinely still open.
How is this different from your speed-to-lead calling?
Speed-to-lead calls a brand-new lead the moment they come in. This is the opposite end of the timeline: it goes back to the quotes that went quiet weeks or months ago and reopens them. Many contractors use both, one to catch new requests fast and one to reactivate old ones.

Your Next Job Is Already in Your Files

You have a list of people who asked you for a price and never got a follow-up call. Let a warm, disclosed AI go through it and book the work they still want done.
